St Mark's is part of the ground-breaking learning community in the Blessed John XXIII Parish of Stanhope Gardens. The Kindergarten to Year 12 community encompasses two primary schools and St Mark's is the newly opened secondary college. The three schools will share buildings, facilities and resources with the parish. The two primary schools, Holy Cross Primary at Glenwood, and John XXIII Primary at Stanhope Gardens, are already established in the area.

St Mark's is co-educational and serves the residents of Stanhope Gardens and Glenwood. Learning in today's world is both physical and virtual. St Mark's provides a full range of academic and co-curricular opportunities. The school when completed will provide state-of-the art facilities and technology that will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
